A modern and simple interface.
vCast has a modern and clean interface to provide you with a great experience.
Signing up with Google, Facebook or Twitter makes creating an account easy, as your
existing name, profile picture and other settings will be automatically imported,
but can be changed via your profile settings.
vCast allows you to view other peoples profiles and to customise your own, making
it easy to socialise with other fans, build your following and promote your other
social platforms. vCast helps you to grow your community to the best it can be.
Making and searching for new rooms is easy with vCast. When making a new room, simply enter
a room title, description and up to 5 tags to help it get indentified by our discovery
system. When searching for a room, a query will find a result by comparing it with all of
the metadata the host entered when creating the room.
About vCast
vCast
Here at Sky Enterprises, we believe that podcasts are a very powerful social tool. Podcasts
allow people to discuss current events and topics of interest, and are a great way for
creators to socialise with fans. We want to take this to the next level with vCast.
If you've read our feature overview, you're probably thinking. 'This sounds a lot like
Twitch, not really a podcast service.' If you think that, you're right; vCast and Twitch
are similar. Twitch allows its users to stream themselves playing games, making things
and doing whatever they want, even hosting a podcast. Their streamers can even chat with
their fans live in chat, just like you can on vCast.
However, vCast is unique in that it takes more elements from a podcast and combines them
with this stream-like method. A room host can invite listeners of a room to speak along
with the hosts, sort of like a 'guest speaker', something no other service offers. vCast
is also centred around discussion more than content creation, although this is possible
with the site as well.
We want vCast to be a place for our users to discover new people, talking about what
they're interested in, as well as a place for creators to grow their platform and other
social profiles.
In the future, we hope to add more expansive features, such as rewatchable podcasts,
clipping systems and uploading podcasts to streaming services such as Spotify and
Apple podcasts.
About vCast
Development
We believe that vCast has the potential to change the podcast industry by making it more
accessible for everybody. vCast is the next product we wish to release, and we are
planning on releasing it at the end of 2022, once
Filmatic becomes a more established platform. We
want vCast to be a success, so we can't rush its development for this to happen. Check
out our Roadmap for an idea about our company
'plan' and what's in store for the future.
We want vCast to be designed for the users, regardless of whether you are a creator or a
listener, so we value your feedback. We want to hear from you if you think something
won't work well, if something could be improved or if you have a suggestion for a feature.
If you do, let us know on our Discord
server. Our goal is to make the best possible experience for every one of our users, so
your feedback is vital for us to do this.
To stay updated, follow us on Twitter,
where we will often post updates on vCast's development. If you want to see new
showcase videos, updates or reveal trailers, consider subscribing to our YouTube
channel.
We want vCast to enable anybody to create their own podcast or discover podcasts
discussing topics they're interested in, and we can't wait for you to experience it for
yourself.
